Wuro is home.
The Wuro Collection is a poetic homage to the ancestral strength of African cultures. Inspired by the Sunmask of the Bwa people of Burkina Faso, each piece reinterprets the deep symbolism of these ceremonial masks objects that once invoked rain, prosperity, and spiritual renewal.
The zigzag motifs across the porcelain mirror the path of the ancestors, symbolising movement, transition, and generational legacy. The name “Wuro”, meaning “home” in Fulani, reflects the soul of this collection: a sense of rootedness, community, and shared memory.
Crafted by the prestigious Manufacture de Couleuvre in France, Wuro objects embody an uncompromising standard of excellence in porcelain art. Each plate, tray, or placemat is designed not only as a functional object, but also as a cultural artifact, a bridge between tradition and contemporary elegance.
This is not just tableware, it is a statement. A dialogue between African heritage and global sophistication, made to elevate both your space and your spirit.
