The Wuro Collection draws inspiration from the Sun Mask of the Bwa tribe of Burkina Faso, a powerful symbol of community, rituals, and ancestral journeys. Each piece is a handcrafted porcelain masterpiece, transforming traditional ceremonial motifs into contemporary works of art. The intricate zigzag patterns echo the paths of ancestors, guiding the viewer through a dialogue between heritage and modernity.
‘Wuro’, meaning ‘home’ in several West African languages, conveys a sense of rootedness and cultural connection. Produced in collaboration with the renowned Manufacture de Couleuvre in France, each creation embodies exceptional ceramic craftsmanship and the fusion of African symbolism with European savoir-faire.
